- Do you have any openings to sell in your shop?
We have a waiting list for permanent vendors selling in the shop in Independence, but we are always looking for new vendors for our two shops in the city!
- What does it take to be a Guest Vendor in your shop?
Simply submit photos of some of your work through our website and if we think it might be a fit we’ll call!
- What if I have stuff I want to sell you?
Simply contact us through the website with pictures and prices! We don’t like to price it for ourselves, and if you ask us to make an offer we’ll say “free”! So if you’re looking for cash, you need to tell us what you want for your things! Keep in mind, we’re looking for cast-offs rather than true antiques or upscale furniture.
- Do you take furniture on consignment?
Unfortunately we do not. We just don’t have the floor space!
- Will you do custom work?
Yes, we do! Fill out our short Custom Work form and we will be in touch.
- Do you deliver?
Again, we’ve been known to do it (for a fee), but we don’t relish the thought. The logistics and amount of time and work have made us a little gun-shy of offering the service. So I guess our answer is “only in a pinch”.
- Are your prices negotiable?
They are not. We do our best to price our merchandise fairly from the beginning. If an item doesn’t sell we may choose to mark it down the following month or two, so you’re always welcome to take your chances!
- Why are all sales final?
We will always stand behind our products, so if something doesn’t hold up from a quality perspective we will always take it back. But we change the merchandise so quickly that we simply cannot afford to take back merchandise purchased the previous month.
- Where do you guys find all of your stuff?
Everyone has their favorite spots, but for the most part we get our merchandise from garage sales, estate sales, thrift shops, craigslist, donations (our favorite) or curbside castoffs (our second favorite)
- Is everything in your shop painted with CHALK PAINT®?
Just about everything. We don’t require it, but most of our vendors have been won over because of the ease of using it! No sanding, priming or prep work? What’s not to love?!
- How often do you hold workshops?
We try to hold two classes at each location per month, one in the morning and one in the evening.
- When will you have more advanced workshops?
We’re working on that one!
- Will we ever get to see your house above the creamery?
