Yes, in just 2 short weeks…14 days…Canterbury Park will be filled with oodles of rusty, junky goodness that we all know and love. (eeekk!!!)
While our Independence Mamas are gearing up for the April Occasional Sale next week (April 8-12), ALL the Mamas are continuing to grow their
hoarding piles stashes for Junk Bonanza!
What is Junk Bonanza, you ask? Well, if you haven’t been there, you need to block off your calendars now because you NEED to go. If you love Mama’s Happy (and I know you do), you’re gonna LOVE Junk Bonanza! It’s located at Canterbury Park in Shakopee and runs April 16, 17 & 18. There will be wall-to-wall vendors of all kinds, from furniture and smalls to jewelry to garden art to clothing to…well, let’s just say you’ll find something (or if you’re like me, a bunch of somethings) that you’ll fall in love with. Check out their website here. (go ahead, I’ll wait)
(It’s awesome, right?!)
This year, Mama’s Happy will have 3 booths all on the lower level…one for each of our store locations (Independence, St. Paul and St. Louis Park). We are really excited about this because it gives us the opportunity to show you the personal touches that make each location unique…all under one roof. While all our stores have an underlying “Mama’s Happy” style to them, we have different vendors at each location and we love that each store has developed their own flair. And we’re pretty sure you’re gonna love it too! So if you haven’t made it out to all 3 stores yet (or even if you have), be sure to stop by each of our booths to check it out and say hi.
And if that wasn’t enough, we’ll also be staffing the Annie Sloan Chalk Paint booth! We are honored to be able to partner with Annie Sloan Unfolded again this year at Junk Bonanza and will be showcasing Chalk Paint each day in live demos. Sign-up for paint demos is at Junk Bonanza only so be sure to make it one of your first stops if you want to try out some Chalk Paint for yourself.
I’ve gathered some photos from the Mamas of what they’ve been working on so that we can get a little peek at just some of the things you’ll be seeing in our booths. They’re all still cleaning, painting, hunting and building more goodies that will be making their way down to Shakopee in a couple short weeks. Watch the blog and Facebook for more sneak peeks as we get closer to the big event! Are you getting excited? We sure are…it’s such a fun event. We hope to see you all there!
