It doesn’t happen very often but most of us got together on Saturday night to relax, laugh and share stories at Amanda’s house- aka the creamery. This sign greets you on your way upstairs. Our very own Jolie painted it for Amanda when she and her family moved in. I love that sign and the saying. It reminds me each time to live the life we love.
For some of us our stores are a place to come and escape the craziness of life, expand our creative world and just enjoy some ladies that have become true friends- kind of an oasis that we look forward to going to.
Our mama Sherry with her helper Shawn. That woman can whip a room into a beautiful picture straight out of a magazine. Man, is this woman talented!
She has taught alot of us how to make a room beautiful.
My pictures don’t do the decorating justice by any means but trust me she does an amazing job.
Pam and Carol made an amazing potato bar- which I bet they didn’t know is my FAV food! I could live on potatoes especially mashed tators!
We had all the fixings- turkey, gravy, cheese, bacon what ever you’d like it was there.
I loved sitting back, taking pictures and watching the joy spread in the room. The laughs and genuine true friendships that have happened in this room all because of one lady- Amanda.
People who’s paths would have never crossed but have become great friends. Maryjo and Robyn from our Stillwater store.
Amanda’s speech was heart felt, full of thanks and as usual didn’t leave a dry eye in the room. She is an amazing leader with all 5 feet of her little body poured into this company. We are all truly grateful for what she has created.
Along with the wise words a toast to what we have accomplished this year and for what is to come in 2016. I am so excited to see what will happen this next year.
Smiles by all during the night! Mindy (on the left) is our gal that does all the merchandising at our city stores. She is one busy lady with her little ones and keeping the stores looking beautiful. CJ works in our St. Louis Park store- she is one the kindest ladies I have ever met!
A couple of our St. Paul girls. Abby (on the right) helps out with our social media along with working at our St. Paul store- oh and going to college- wow to be young again! Charity is one of our mamas over there. She can create just about anything cool from nothing. I just love her work- rusty, old, chippy is right up my alley. Yes, I have a few of her pieces at my house.
These sisters (Emi, Kate and Maren) are following in their mama’s footsteps in our St. Louis Park store. They are amazing builders, painters and just lovely girls!
This group- well these are some of my girls at Indy. Just a great bunch of ladies to spend my days with! Each one brings a different talent to the group and I love sharing my days with them. Thanks ladies for everything!
Amanda and Carolyn. Carolyn has been with Amanda since the days in Mound. Love those smiles!
Jen is one of our newer mamas at our Indy location talking with our cute couple- Todd and Mary from Wisconsin. We won’t hold that against them 😉 since they are such a talented duo! If we are ever looking for something you can usually find it in their barn!
Debi is one of our newest employees along with CJ and Tauna. These gals rock the house at St. Louis Park. I don’t think Tauna ever sleeps with what she can crank out!
Last but not least me between Shawn and John. On more then one occasion we have confused people and get asked if we are sisters- we aren’t but she can definitely be my honorary sister since I don’t have one. They had me laughing so hard I was crying- hopefully you can’t see my mascara running down my cheeks.
I think this sums up my night with all these fine ladies and gents! This holiday season take a minute to look what is in front of you- the blessing you have and hold them dear in your heart and behold the wonder of each of them.
— Until next week…
